Halfway between a base layer and a mid-layer, the Swix QUANTUM NTS W is a long-sleeve, high-collar zipper top for women that’s called a 1.5 layer.

NTS stands for next-to-skin, which is why this top is worn as an inner layer against the skin, preferably with a lightweight, windproof jacket or vest on the outside if necessary. Made of polyester and elastane, it offers light wind protection, insulates well, transports moisture efficiently and dries quickly. The high-stretch fabric is paired with a soft, comfortable brush lining.

This model is a great second skin for skiing in harsh winter conditions.
